| The winning team : the GREENS!!! |
This was with a group of Nestlé employees (from NBS Global), and it was part of the team building event involving several activities that NBS organized in a school at Colombier (Vaud).
A group of 25 Nestlé employees practiced korfball for the first time, after receiving some basic explanations from Marta and Arnau Albà. The activity was very simple: in groups of 8 or 9, they would come to the korfball "pitch", receive some 5 minute instructions, do 5 minutes of shooting practice as a warm up supervised by Arnau and Marta, and then...., straight to play a short 15-20 minute match !
The sport generated interest, because it was completely new to everybody, and we could certainly see two types of future opportunities:
- 1st step for the creation of the NBS team: some of the participants enjoyed the sport and requested to participate in future activities when we organise them.
- We made some contacts which will maybe open a door for more korfball possibilities in a local school: one of the participants will suggest this activity to his childrens' school, and Marta will try to organise some sort of presentation there.
